The 44th annual Association of American Hockey League Booster Club's Convention will be held on September 5th-7th, 2008 at the Three year old Hilton Hotel and Conference Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/SCRCCHF-Hilton-Scranton-Conference-Center-Pennsylvania/index.do and hosted by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Booster Club http://www.wbspenguinsboosterclub.com.  The Friday dinner theme will be Nickelodeon's TVland.  We are pleased to say the pricing is again very affordable for this year's event.  Start to make your plans as registration forms will be available through your club in early January.  Scranton is home to the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.  So, as an added bonus, members of your club who are fans of The Office on NBC can visit many of the landmarks located in the Electric City.  Scranton is also home to the Steamtown National Historic Site which holds one of the largest collections of working steam locomotives in the world.  A wonderful downtown hotel location lends itself to a two floor shopping mall just two blocks away and many other wonderful shops, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance.  So without further adieu, here are the prices for this year's event.  Early arrival rooms are priced at $98.  This price INCLUDES TAX AND PARKING!!!  Bus parking is free.  Cars and vans can park in the brand new parking garage located right next to the hotel.  Convention pricing is per person based on room occupancy and includes all taxes and gratuities. 

Standard Room (2 double or 1 king) - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Includes 2 nights, 2 breakfast buffets, 1 dinner buffet, 1 sit down dinner
Single - $320, Double - $210, Triple - $180 and Quadruple - $165
